Payment Policy

1. Booking & Trip Confirmation

Afrolink Adventures accepts payments through Direct Bank Transfer, a Secure Online Payment Gateway Systems such as PesaPal & M-Pesa Till Number for all payments. Personal checks are only accepted for deposit payments. To confirm your trip, a 30% non-refundable deposit of the total trip price is payable immediately upon receipt of the final trip details and invoice. On receipt of your deposit, we will reserve the accommodations that you have chosen on your selected trip. Receipt of deposit by us constitutes acceptance of these conditions. The remaining 70% of the total amount is payable latest up to 60 days to arrival date.

2. Final Payment

Final payment is due to Afrolink Adventures not later than 5 weeks prior to departure. Those items included in the invoice are listed on the final trip proposal.

If final payment has not been received in our office within 7 days after final payment due date, your booking will be cancelled and applicable penalties will be assessed by the Afrolink Adventures.

Afrolink Adventures will not be liable to pay any bank charges incurred during the transfer of money using any of the afore-mentioned payment methods.

3. Cancellation Policy

Should guests cancel their booking, this must be done in writing. Cancellations are only effective on receipt of written notification. If guests cancel prior to 5 weeks before the departure, the 30% deposit is forfeited.

Bookings cancelled between 40 days - 16 days will attract a 40% cancellation fee if the total amount due has been paid. Bookings cancelled less than 15 days to start of trip & no shows will attract a 100% cancellation fee.

Should guests fail to travel on the agreed trip start date or leave prior to its completion, no trip refund can be made. (Please note that if the reason for the cancellation falls within the terms of any holiday insurance policy which you hold, then the insurance company, subject to the terms of your insurance will normally refund any such charges to you.)

4. Refunds

Whilst the company uses its best endeavors to ensure that all anticipated accommodation is available as planned, there shall be no claim of any nature whatsoever against the company for a refund either in whole or part, if any accommodation or excursion is unavailable, or the guest was unable to use this service.

5. Prices

Afrolink Adventures will do its utmost to keep to the price published. Should airlines, exchange rates, e.t.c, force increases on Afrolink Adventures, Afrolink Adventures reserves the right to surcharge without notice, up to maximum of 10% of the tour fare.
