Day 1 to 3

ACCOMODATION: Chobe Safari Lodge

Chobe Safari Lodge is located on the banks of the Chobe River in northern Botswana, making it one of the best destination for good game viewing in the Chobe national park and an ideal choice of accommodation to visit the Chobe area, the majestic Victoria Falls or the Zambezi region (formerly named the Caprivi Strip).

Accommodation is offered in 22 luxurious River Rooms, 46 Safari Rooms or the 8 thatched traditional Rondavels which are all en suite, freestanding in the gardens of the Lodge next to the Chobe River and equipped with ceiling fans. The River Rooms and the Safari Rooms are all en suite and have views of the Chobe River. The Terrace Restaurant serves a delicious varied breakfast buffet (English or continental style), as well as sampling indigenous African delicacies. Barbeques, specialist game meats, stir-fries, a selection of mouth-watering vegetarian dishes and Indian cuisine are also on the menu.

Activities led by expert guides include game drives, guided walks, private cruises throughout the day and fishing for the legendary tiger fish and species of bream which provide for an exciting fishing experience.

Day 3 to 6

ACCOMODATION: Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is situated just four kilometres from Victoria Falls Town thus giving guests the superb feeling of being in the remote African wilderness, with endless unspoiled views to the horizon. The Lodge is built on a plateau overlooking the vast Zambezi National Park with unsurpassed views from the deck. The lodge is built up above a central waterhole attracting herds of buffalo, elephant, giraffe and zebra, as well as night-time predators, such as lion and leopard.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge offers accommodation in 24 standard rooms, 42 waterhole facing rooms with wonderful views of the safari lodge’s waterhole from your private balcony and lastly the 6 waterhole facing suites which have uninterrupted views of the waterhole and the Zambezi National park.

There is no better way to explore the African bush than on a guided game drive in an open safari vehicle, other activities include sunset cruise, white water rafting on the mighty Zambezi River, helicopter flights over the impressive Victoria Falls and the majestic Zambezi River.

Victoria Falls

Awaken your sense of adventure and marvel at the 354ft sheet of flowing water of the Victoria Falls; one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. It should come as no surprise then, why the locals know The Victoria Falls as Mosi-oa-Tunya – the smoke that thunders and “Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by Angels in their flight” the often-quoted note that David Livingstone made when he first saw this breathtaking waterfall.

Besides gazing in awe at the waterfall, there are many adventurous activities on offer including a tour of the falls, swimming in the “Devil’s Pool”, Helicopter flights over the Victoria Falls, Adrenaline filled activities such as Bungee-jump off the Victoria Falls bridge, water rafting. The Victoria Falls form part of the mighty Zambezi River, which draws the wildest of African creatures to its banks as such its close proximity to the Zambezi National Park make for good game viewing and photography of the enormous herds of elephants. Fall in love with Africa as you watch the sun sink into the horizon on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.


Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park covers an area of 12 000 square kilometres and is home to the world's largest population of elephant that concentrate on the Chobe River during the dry season. The land of giants as it is locally known, to the far north, the park borders the Chobe River here you'll encounter large herds of elephant and cape buffalo quenching their thirst during the dry season the floodplains of the Chobe River.

The wildlife diversity of the Chobe River can be experienced on game drives and boat safaris where you are guaranteed to see more than 15 different species of wildlife such as impala, giraffe and a wide variety of birds as well as a large concentration of predators such as Lions and Leopards.
